Individually packaged cuts of beef and pork sold by the pound at our retail store. Retail store hours vary depending on the time of year. Under the contact page you will find various ways to get in touch with us.
Custom Butchering
Order a whole, half or quarter side of beef sold by the pound. Appointments vary in availability depending on the time of the year, under normal circumstances we can get an appointment within a few weeks or days of ordering .
We offer a whole line up of retail cuts through our fully licensed, inspected and insured meat shop. All cuts are sold by the pound, chops are individually packaged, and all roasts range from 2-5 lbs.

All custom beef are sold based on hanging weight. Our beef average between 800 - 900 lbs. hanging. Murphy Farms charges the customer for the beef. The customer is responsible for processing fees paid to the butcher when they pick up their meat.
Murphy Farms charges - $3.50 per/lb.
Processing fees vary from $1 - $1.15 per lb. plus a $125 slaughter fee.
Customers have the option to select cuts on a whole or half beef, quarters are cut standard, meaning you do not get a choice of how you would like it cut.
Selling wholes, halves and quarter sides of beef has been the staple of our operation for many years. While our custom butchered beef operations continued to grow we soon realized as prices increased, there was a huge demand for individually packaged beef sold by the pound. Our cattle are fed to finish weight on a grain diet with free choice hay in our 300 head feed lot system. Our ration consists of shelled corn as well as ear corn. We monitor feed rations and daily intake of our cattle to insure our calves are fed to the perfect weight that meets our customers demand.
From the very beginning customers have always asked where can get purchase high quality locally grown pork with the same great taste as your beef. We came up with a simple solution, start purchasing finished hogs from the company we are swine production partners with. From 6 weeks of age until finished weigh we take 100% of the responsibility in caring for these pigs. Similar to the cattle they are fed the highest quality feed rations available.
